The Catholic Campaign for Human Development has been a source of controversy and has a history of funding organizations that promote abortion, homosexuality, contraception, and Marxism and some have even given funds to Planned Parenthood or distributed condoms. CCHD 2022-2025 Grants Reports
What follows is a listing of all 67 grantees found to be in violation of CCHD grant guidelines and Catholic moral teaching for FY 2022-2025. The CCHD kept its grant lists for this time period hidden until December of 2024, meaning we had had to spend nearly a year investigating 395 individual grants. You can also sort each column alphabetically, either by name of the organization, by diocese, or by violation type. An Introduction and Analysis to this the grants lists for 2022-2025 will be available shortly. Also, some of the grantee reports are not yet available. This list will be updated as the grantee reports are completed.
NOTE REGARDING DIOCESES NOT LISTED HERE: Most dioceses that take the CCHD collection only retain 25% of the collection money for local use. The other 75% is sent to national CCHD, which then redistributes that collected money to organizations like those listed below.
