For Fiscal Year 2014-2015, the Catholic Campaign for Human Development provided a $35,000 grant to Detroit Action Commonwealth (DAC) through the Archdiocese of Detroit.

The lead organizer for DAC is Molly Sweeney.
Molly Sweeney’s facebook page, complete with the rainbow-flag profile image, identifies her connection to Detroit Action Commonwealth.
On June 27, the day after the SCOTUS decision to force all states to allow same-sex “marriage,” Molly Sweeney used the “celebrate pride” facebook app to add the rainbow flag to her profile.
In June 2012, Molly Smith posted an image on her facebook page, protesting pro-life legislation.
In February 2012, Molly Smith posted a link demanding that the Susan G. Komen Foundation maintain its funding for Planned Parenthood.
Conclusion
Personnel is policy. It’s that simple. When the lead organizer for an organization is promoting abortion, Planned Parenthood, and same-sex marriage the way Molly Sweeney is on her own facebook page, she is not only representing herself but her organization. If her employer had any issue with what she was posting, she would have either been asked to remove such things from her facebook page, or fired. As it stands, the Catholic Church should not be sending Catholic donations to an organization whose primary activist is so heavily promoting abortion and homosexuality.
Contact the CCHD, in particular its director Mr. Ralph McCloud. Ask him why CCHD continues to fund organizations run by pro-abortion and pro-same-sex marriage activists, and tell him that until CCHD stops doing this, it will not receive one red cent.
