Human Network International is a global development organization dedicated to “bringing the benefits of technology to individuals and organizations working in the developing world.” Included in this work, HNI is working with contraception and abortion spreading organizations to facilitate the promotion of birth control.
In 2010, HNI partnered with Airtel, the Government of Madagascar, and key development organizations to launch what it calls, the 3-2-1 Service, specifically designed to spread contraceptive messaging and put clients in touch with family planning clinics. HNI says that the 3-2-1 Service is:
“an innovative mobile phone information service to prepare resource-poor individuals in take action to improve their health and well-being. At a moment of need, men, women, boys, and girls can use their simple mobile phones to proactively retrieve information across a range of topics. No Internet required.”
HNI describes the way it works, like this:
Callers dial the toll-free number, 3-2-1, anytime, anywhere. They are greeted by a welcome message in their local language. The voice prompts them through the menu of topics until they find the trusted information they need, when they need it.
Two of the sample messages (in English) given information about “Family Planning Choices” and “The Advantages of Family Planning.”

Targeting Cambodia, Madagascar and Nigeria, HNI points out that the topics covered under the Family Planning menu for the 3-2-1 Service are:
- Definitions and Importance
- Benefits
- Advice
- Methods
- Clinics Near You
In 2011, HNI partnered with Marie Stopes Madagascar “to build its own internal capacity to collect data electronically,” specifically regarding “client contraceptive choice by method.” Marie Stopes International is the number one international competitor with the International Planned Parenthood Federation in the contraception/abortion industry. According to HNI’s statement on this partnership, “HNI built and installed the new application. Right away, MSM began collecting valuable data from the doctors.”
In conjunction with HNI’s 3-2-1 Service, in 2015, HNI partnered with Population Services International to create a campaign to promote PSI’s “Whisper” brand of female condoms. HNI said that its “3-2-1 Service now includes information about female condoms via a free call or SMS on any type of mobile phone.” HNI even created a short video promotion for its condom-promoting campaign.
Urging people to use a condom with every sexual act, the ad says, “Condoms are the only family planning method that also protects against HIV and STIs. The female condom is female-initiated, easy to use, is made from durable material and cannot easily burst.”
HNI even posted a photograph of one of its 3-2-1 Service Whisper campaign billboards.

HNI also collaborated with the UNFPA, winning a $75,000 prize in the process, for the promotion of the abortifacient “emergency contraceptive” pills and even “safe abortions.” According to the site explaining the prize won by HNI and the UNFPA:
Callers can dial the toll-free number “3-2-1” 24 hours a day to access the information they need. In a series of “listen, then choose” steps, callers use their keypad to select from among hundreds of pre-recorded messages. The service was launched in Cambodia last year covering six topics; Weather, Market Prices, Currency Exchange Rate, Safe Abortion, Birth Spacing & Emergency Numbers.
In 2015, HNI partnered with an organization called “PACE” (Population Services International’s network) in Uganda to promote IUDs as an emergency contraceptive. The article explaining this partnership said:
To educate youth, PACE plans to create a friendly environment where young people can discuss their sexual reproductive health needs, including IUD as EC. PACE will include the IUD as EC on Human Network International’s on-demand SMS-based health information system, which is ideal, since most adolescents have mobile phones. The SMS-based application is toll-free and offers both audio and text information, allowing for various messaging preferences.
Conclusion
Human Network International is building the Culture of Death by integrating communications apparatuses into the spread of contraceptive services, devices and messages, as well as messages promoting “safe abortion” into their product.
Because of HNI’s unwavering promoting of these grave moral evils, no Christian could ever, in good conscience, support, provide funds or a clean image for this organization.
