Sin is disorder. Every sin is a rebellious act against the order established by God. This is God’s universe. He has the sovereign right to order it as he pleases. Curiously enough, every sin disorders the sinner first. That would not be much to worry about except for the fact that moral disorder eventually results in someone’s death.
